Network Design and Installation
A robust network is essential to a reliable and responsive smart home ecosystem. We will review your existing network and recommend replacement options if needed. The goal is to strategically place access points in manner that eliminates dead spots and strengthens device connectivity. At times it is essential to create a wired backbone of connected access points and devices to accomplish this goal. This requires access to attics or basements and cutting into walls to pull network cables to their desired location and create new points of connection.
When extending the network to outside areas, it will most likely be necessary to establish a conduit point that runs from the inside to the outside of your house. This requires creating a new path that runs from the inside to the outside of your home. These conduit paths will accommodate runs of low voltage cabling such as speaker wire, fiber optic and network cables.
Once completed, a well-designed indoor and outdoor home network creates endless opportunities for growing and managing your smart home.
